Six Days With Paper Folding 

Enam hari dalam libur lebaran (12-17 Okt 07), saya pakai untuk membuat sebuah ‘masterpiece’ yang kayaknya kalo lagi ga kebanyakan waktu ga akan bisa selesai.. Hehe =) Selama 6 hari, saya membuat model motor Yamaha yang berbahankan 14 lembar kertas HVS A4 70 gram! Akhirnya selesai juga -_-‘, perjuanganku membuahkan hasil yang cukup membanggakan.. Thx God for giving me a patience and ability to make a beautiful handicraft..  Everything in me is given by the Lord, I praise Him cause He is so good for my life..

Judul buku ini sangat menarik menurut saya : ‘Si Bisu’. Pertama kali saya melihat judul buku ini dan kalimat ‘Kisah Perjalanan Seorang Korea Bersama Yesus’, saya bertanya-tanya apa yang telah Tuhan Yesus perbuat dalam hidupnya? Dan jawaban dari pertanyaan itu membuat saya terkagum-kagum.

Ki Dong Kim bukanlah seorang yang memiliki kehidupan yang berkecukupan. Hidup di tengah kacaunya suasana Perang Korea membuat dia menjadi seorang anak yang tidak punya masa depan. Masa kecilnya dilalui dengan bekerja sebagai pembantu untuk membayar hutang keluarganya. Namun dia belum menyerah, dengan bermodalkan tekad ia pergi ke kota untuk mencari ilmu. Memang tidak mudah dan banyak penderitaan yang harus ditanggungnya. Sampai ketika sebelum ia hendak menelan 30 butir pil kina yang dibawanya kemana-mana, ia memutuskan untuk mengetahui terlebih dahulu ‘Siapakah dia?’ dan ‘Untuk apa dia?’ dengan mencari jawabannya di gereja.

Tuhan tidak pernah menciptakan seseorang tanpa tujuan, Ia menciptakan manusia dengan begitu uniknya dan rencana besar bagi setiap mereka. Pada hari ia ke gereja, Ki Dong Kim dikatakan beroleh anugrah dari Allah dan hari itu juga ia lahir baru. Ia menyadari bahwa ia adalah anak Allah. Ia menjadi begitu tertarik dan mencintai Firman Tuhan, meskipun tidak memiliki Alkitab, dengan meminjam Alkitab milik orang lain, ia membaca habis Alkitab 1 kali setiap minggu.

Sepanjang hidupnya, Tuhan membawa dia untuk membangkitkan orang mati, menyembuhkan banyak orang sakit dan membawa api Tuhan ke Korea.

Betapa pun seseorang merasa tidak berharga, bagi Tuhan dia tetap sangat berharga. Lihatlah dari kacamata Tuhan dan lihatlah betapa berharganya dirimu.

Buluh yang patah terkulai tidak akan diputuskan-Nya, dan sumbu yang pudar nyalanya tidak akan dipadamkan-Nya, sampai Ia menjadikan hukum itu menang.

Facing The Giant

Have you watched this film? Actually this film had been released some months ago. But, if you haven’t watched it yet, I suggest you to do watch this film! I get many precious things from this film and it is really strengthen me . Two thumbs up for this film…

The day when I watched the film, actually I was in confusion. I feel bored with all things..

But, suddenly this film was played in my church. These are the summary of the film combined with some points I got from the film :

Grant Taylor, a coach in a football club faced many problem with his life. His team didn’t play well, he hadn’t have both a good enough home to live in and a car,and even he couldn’t have a baby. In the middle of problems, he decided not to runaway but to pray to Jesus. Every morning, he woke up early and went outdoor to read the Holy Bible and pray seriously.

Until one time, the headmaster of the school came to him and say “that nobody can close the door that God have opened, and nobody can open the door that God have closed. Keep fighting, the door God opened for you couldn’t be closed by anybody.” (from Revelation <Wahyu> 3:7)

The headmaster also told him, 2 people pray for the rain, but only 1 person who go to the field. This means when we pray for something, just trust that God will answer us. Which one of the two people are you? The people really believe that God will answer his pray or the other who pray but not have faith to get God’s answer. Actually, God is ready to give all things we need, but many times we don’t ready to receive it. Let prepare the field, God is going to give it rain…

His waiting was not meaningless, God changed his life with His saying in Holy Bible. Although Grant haven’t see the effect of his diligence in God, but actually God was working through his life. His trainee were amazed with his belief, and a repent came after the school. Many students felt God’s love and repent from theirs sin. A great salvation happened in the school, and it started from a “foolish people” who rely on God.

Moreover, Grant didn’t teach only technique to play football, but he spoke the truth from God. Although at first people thought he was being crazy but everyone who believe on Him shall not be embarrassed. He really believed that nothing impossible for God, and his faith became true, his team which always be loser, finally become the winner of the state-country. An achievement that can’t be happen even in dream, because their opponent was a giant team that always be the winner. But Our God is the master of all impossible thing. Although they were weak, but from their weakness God can show His power to them.

The work of God is perfect, He also gave Grant a car and a house, and a miracle happened. A baby became the new member of his family.

When we win we praise Him and when we lose we still worship Him. Everything is for God’s glory.

Be faithful for God, do all things as for Him, and you will find that God prepare all things you need before you ask.

Still us have a giant to be defeated? That’s not others human, not the devil, but we must defeat our flesh. The “giant” can appear as a problem in our life, a rejection from other people, a failure in doing something,even it can be our reverenge to others.

But, as in I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Whatever your condition now, don’t lose your hope in Jesus. He really never leaves us alone, even when we leave Him. Although many times, we think that we walk alone, but actually He is carrying us to pass every temptation. Don’t think that you are weak, useless, ugly, stupid, etc, but think how if God can work with your weakness?

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
